As I have mentioned in my about page, I have been known to play online games. The first MMO I tried was this…ΞνΞ ΘΠLІΠΞ.

After playing MSN euchre online for nearly 2 years, and then having it close on me, I was lost. I needed a game to keep me happy in my escapism. I was informed of EVE by a computer engineer through work. That was back in 2006, and I’ve been playing ever since. Addicted? Reality of it is that I would have to say I am. Sure I can go without it, only if I have to. I find this game meets everything I need out of a game. Player vs Environment, great graphics in a huge universe that continues to grow and expand as you do. Player vs Player, meet reality head on, even in fantasy space games the conflicts of humanity rise to the fore. Political drama’s, pirates, scammers, industrialists, greed mongers, mercenaries, leaders..it’s all there.

Sure I’ve tried WoW, still have it downloaded on my computer, using a private server so I play with friends. I enjoy it when I want to play something that doesn’t need brain matter, its more laid back than EVE. Tends to be a little more solo, and no where near as dramatic or thrilling. But then I’m sure I am biased. And I would also say that I’ve not really given it the time of day it probably deserves as I’ve found what I enjoy in EVE.

Lucky for me the man in my life is a gamer as well, so we can complain at each other for the time spent on the computer, and share the addiction lol
